“I've been a huge fan of the melrose hotel my entire life, but let me tell you when the newest owners took over and remodeled it and gave it its dignity, high class status, elegant decor and sensual new lighting and color inside and out, she's absolutely the most incredible Hotel I have ever seen in my life! She's become inviting, calm, and electric all at the same time, and the Bar just really takes you back in time when elegance was prestige and appreciated! Great Job New owners She's so beautiful and I can't wait to see what's in-store for her amazing future, it makes a difference when you see people who care about the building and where she came.from and what she's been thru, all I can say is Encore! Fabulous!!! A million gold stars!”

Why Grand Junction

WHY
GRAND JUNCTION?

Can you keep the secret?

Despite its growing popularity, Grand Junction maintains its small-town charm and untapped potential in the hospitality sector. With a relatively low saturation of branded hotels and boutique accommodations, there is ample room for investment and growth in the market. Moreover, the city's supportive business environment and investment-friendly policies make it an attractive destination for hospitality entrepreneurs.

Grand Junction, Colorado, presents a compelling opportunity for investment in the hospitality space, driven by its growing tourism industry, unique attractions, strategic location, and untapped potential. By capitalizing on the region's natural beauty, diverse recreational offerings, agricultural heritage, and proximity to iconic destinations, investors can position themselves to reap the rewards of a thriving hospitality market in one of Colorado's most captivating destinations.

IN THE PRESS

"You’d be excused if you found yourself in Grand Junction and mistook it for Denver’s RiNo neighborhood because this Western Slope city has gone from a way station for outdoor adventure to a hip destination. The new Hotel Melrose opened in fall 2023, so this is the first summer to stay at this “historically inspired boutique hotel” with chic dark walls and sumptuous furniture. Or, just drop in to get a cocktail at the Melrose Spirit Co. while you amble around downtown."

THE GRAND OPENING

Before we bought the hotel and shut it down for renovations, the hotel had been continuously operated as a hotel for 113 years and had never been closed for business in it's history, so our reveal had to be BIG. The town showed up and our guest of honor cut the ribbon at the grand opening, the great granddaughter of the family who originally built the building, Marycaye Daniels. She also lived in the hotel for 18 years when her mother ran the hotel as the 3rd generation under her great grandparents, the Ponsfords.
