Fort + Home Developments is proud to announce the launch of a new multi-family housing project located at the corner of South Wyoming Street and East Platinum Street in Uptown Butte. The development will feature 4-plex units prefabricated in the Fôrt Hōmes modular manufacturing facility—marking an innovative step forward in addressing Butte’s critical need for high-quality, affordable housing.


The zoning variance for the project was recently approved, and construction is set to begin soon. Each of the 4-plex residences will consist of four thoughtfully designed units, each offering studios, one bedrooms, and a full suite of modern appliances.

Constructed in the Fôrt Hōmes facility in Grand Junction, CO., these homes arrive nearly complete—dramatically reducing on-site construction noise, minimizing waste, and incorporating environmentally friendly materials. The reduced build time is especially impactful in cold-climate cities like Butte, where traditional construction timelines are limited by weather conditions.

Fort + Home is no stranger to the Butte community. In 2022, the company played a key role in the renovation of the beloved Historic O’Rourke building—earning recognition for its thoughtful restoration and dedication to preserving local character. This new housing development continues that legacy, with architectural details carefully designed to blend seamlessly into the historical fabric of Uptown Butte.
